Job Responsibilities:

• Finding the best way to secure the IT infrastructure of an organization
• Looking for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software
• Building firewalls into network infrastructures
• Constantly monitoring for attacks and intrusions
• When the cybersecurity specialist finds a potential threat or attempted breach, closing off the security vulnerability
• Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
• Prepare reports and action plans in the event that a security breach does occur
• Upgrade systems regularly to remain competitive in the field of security
• Communicate the system status, keep users informed of downtime or changes to the system
• Keep technical knowledge current through continuing education
• Keep the user access updated for terminated employees and changes in Job responsibilities

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and professional skills in all circumstances
• Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software, and networks
• Knowledge of current security risks and protocols
• Ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures

Good To Have: Healthcare domain and Cloud Platform knowledge
Education: Graduate degree in Computer, System Admin, Network Admin / Network Security
